Chloe

Chloe

I’m really good at football, running and helping others to solve problems.

Let me tell you a bit about my dyslexia journey.

When I first started school in Y1 I was nervous because I thought they was something wrong with me as I couldn’t spell or write. In Y3, when I was told I have dyslexia I was happy – It explained why spelling, reading and writing felt so hard.  It didn’t feel like it was my fault anymore. I have always worked incredible hard and now enjoy reading. The reason I’m happy about my reading and spelling ability is that my friends and family are supportive and encourage me. I do have a laptop and can type although I still don’t like getting spellings wrong (it still doesn’t feel great). I like to turn the spell check off!

I’m a good communicator and know when something is wrong and know how to help. I’m very determined and goal focused. I don’t give up easily.  I like being involved in everything especially shows, helping out around school. I’m a litter collector and gardener.  I’m also a spokesperson for Neurodiversity.

My ND project is to create a Hairdressers in school! To make sure everyone feels good about themselves. Some people feel insecure about their hair so I’d like to help them. Even if it just that they have been in a rush or having a bad hair day.
